Parkhead Lettings Company
Parkhead Lettings Company is a subsidiary of Parkhead Housing Association. PLC was created to specifically let and manage our Mid-Market Rent properties.
Our Mid-Market Rent properties are 2 bedroom flats, comprising of a spacious lounge, 2 bedrooms with fitted wardrobes (master en-suite), fitted kitchen with appliances including fridge freezer, oven hob and washing machine/dryer, Gas Central Heating & Controlled Entry. Carpets, flooring and blinds are fitted throughout the property. On-street parking is offered on a first come first served basis.
We currently have eight Mid-Market Rent properties within our stock, which are all currently occupied. If any properties become available, we will advertise these on our website and social media channels for those interested to note their interest. Applications are subject to strict household income and employment criteria (detailed below), which differs significantly from the eligibility for applying for a social rented property with Parkhead Housing Association.
- Your total gross household income (from all sources) MUST be within the range of between £17,000 – £46,000
- You must not be reliant upon Housing Benefit or Universal Credit to pay your rent
The rent is £531.97 per calendar month – included in this is a service charge for the white goods, stair cleaning and backcourt maintenance. In addition one full month’s rent is required as a Deposit (this will be held by Safe Deposit Scotland), which will be returned at the end of your tenancy, subject to any deductions for arrears or damage to the property (beyond fair wear and tear).
Tenants in our Mid-Market Rent properties enter into a Private Residential Tenancy Agreement with Parkhead Lettings Company Ltd (subsidiary of Parkhead Housing Association). Mid-Market Rent offers tenants assurance they will be renting a good quality home with a landlord who offers high standards of customer service.
