Your rent is charged monthly in advance on the 28th of each month. This means your payment due on the 28th January is for the month of February. Whether or not you receive Housing Benefit, it is your responsibility to ensure that your rent is paid to the Association each month. If you have any queries concerning this please contact a member of the Housing Services team at the Association's office. Glasgow City Council have launched a Housing Benefit calculator so that you can check whether or not you will be eleigible for help to pay your rent. Click on the link below.
The Association's rent payments are administered by Allpay. There are a number of ways to pay your rent:
Payment Card - The Association can order you a rent card which will allow you to pay your rent at Paypoint outlets or at the Post Office. You can pay by cash or debit card. Always retain your receipt in case of any queries. We cannot check if a payment has reached us without it.
Direct Debit - We can arrange to send you a Direct Debit form to allow the Association to collect payments from your bank account. Your bank account will show the payment collected by 'Allpay'. Unfortunately we cannot accept standing order payments.
E-Pay - You can pay with you debit card via the internet as long as you also have an Allpay payment card from the Association with your rent account number on this as this is your unique reference number and it ensures you payment goes directly to your rent account.elephone - If you do not have internet access and cannot get to a paypoint you can still pay your rent without leaving the house by using the Allpay telephone service and pay using your debit card quoting your Allpay reference number on the payment card issued to you.
