The Association offers the services of a Welfare Rights Officer to all tenants, their households and prospective tenants. The Welfare Rights Officer can assist with all aspects of benefit entitlement.

The service is completely confidential and any information you give will only be shared with the appropriate benefit agencies with your permission. The Welfare Rights Officer can offer practical help to complete benefit claim forms or write letters concerning any claims you have made.

Assistance with appeals from writing letters to representation at the appeal board can be provided.

As claims for benefits and appeals can take time to complete, it is recommended that you make an appointment with the Welfare Rights Officer. If you are unable to attend the office , a home visit can be arranged. Please telephone the office to arrange either appointment
